TurnaDCS has successfully completed TAV CUPPS certification and has been confirmed as fully compatible with the TAV Technologies Common Use Passenger Processing System (CUPPS) platform. This certification validates that TurnaDCS operates seamlessly within the TAV CUPPS environment and supports the full range of required hardware, as well as key passenger check-in and boarding scenarios.
The certification tests were conducted in November 2025 on TAV CUPPS test benches, using the latest version of the platform and a standard set of peripheral devices, including workstations, boarding pass and baggage tag printers, document printers, barcode scanners, and document readers. All critical scenarios – from user authentication and application launch to passenger check-in, boarding pass and baggage document printing, and document and boarding pass scanning – achieved a PASSED status. The resulting certificate confirms that the solution is ready for deployment in shared-use airport environments.
For TurnaTech customers, this means that TurnaDCS can be deployed on TAV CUPPS platforms without custom development, using existing CUPPS workstations and peripherals. With TurnaDCS, airlines and airports gain an out-of-the-box DCS solution that integrates easily with check-in counters and boarding gates, enables more efficient use of infrastructure, and significantly reduces implementation and maintenance costs. Certification also simplifies scaling: the same TurnaDCS application can be rolled out across multiple airports where the TAV CUPPS platform is in place, accelerating deployments and reducing technical risks and lead times when connecting new locations.
Hakan Lokshin, CEO of TurnaTech, commented: “TurnaDCS certification on the TAV CUPPS platform is an important milestone in the evolution of our product and our company. For our customers, it is a direct confirmation that their DCS can operate safely and reliably in a shared-use environment while meeting IATA’s international standards. We are seeing strong interest from airlines and airports in flexible, fast-to-deploy solutions, and TAV CUPPS certification demonstrates that we are ready to meet this demand.”
